Facing the shortage of young talent in technical professions is one of the top challenges our member companies. Therefore it threatens the growth and innovative capacity of our entire industry.

In our event/forum, we would like to briefly present current facts, a good practice and the new young talent campaign. Afterwards we would like to get into conversation with you and the target group, the young people. The central question will be: How can we succeed together in getting more young people interested in technical training or technical studies again?

The positive development of business in India over the past few years has led to increased interest in the mechanical engineering sector in taking a closer look at this market. Especially in the context of creating additional business potential and alternatives to reduce dependence on China.

Company examples from the VDMA membership complement the analysis section in a practical way and provide tips and suggestions for an appropriate approach to opening up this market.
